DESCRIPTION:Mobility Network is pleased to launch a Community of Practice for postdoctoral researchers: a safe space for postdocs to interact\, collaborate\, and grow together as researchers and scholars. \nContribute to shaping a dynamic\, mutually supportive collective! Connect and share with your U of T peers. \nJoin us at our first session on November 16\, 2022\, 3:00-5:00 p.m.\, in person or virtually.  \nWhat is a Community of Practice?\nThe term "Community of Practice" was first used in 1991 to refer to a group of people who "share a concern or a passion for something they do and learn how to do it better as they interact regularly." \nThe agenda at Community of Practice sessions\nMeet fellow researchers and discuss: \n\nResearch interests\nProblems\, challenges\, and solutions\nThe U of T postdoc experience\nFuture plans and ambitions\n\nAlso on the table: \n\nTesting out presentation ideas\nSharing tools and data\nWorkshopping papers-in-progress\nHelping with paper publication processes\n\nSession agendas will be flexible in response to researcher interest. \nWho should attend\nMobility Network’s Community of Practice space welcomes all University of Toronto postdoctoral researchers in mobility-related fields.  \nFacilitators\n\nDr. Ignacio Tiznado Aitken\, Research Coordinator\, Suburban Mobilities\nDr. Matt Palm\, Research Coordinator\, Mobilizing Justice \n\nJoin us for Community of Practice sessions!\nIf you would like to attend this or future sessions\, please email one of the facilitators with the subject line "Community of Practice": \n\nEmail Dr. Ignacio Tiznado Aitken\nEmail Dr. Matt Palm
