Dr. Judy Farvolden, Mobility Network’s Executive Director, was a VIP Speaker featured at the TRACCS (Transit Rail Association for Canadian Contractors, Maintainers and Standards) Rail Day 2022 conference on June 15, 2022.
Her presentation “The role of universities in driving innovation in our industry” addressed the rail industry’s need for academic collaborations both to ensure the implementation of state-of-the-art practices and to meet Canada’s need for highly qualified personnel in the field.
Canada’s first outdoor transit and rail exhibition, TRACCS Rail Day 2022 set up on New Toronto Street in Toronto June 15-16.

We have hundreds of members that have experience working on complex projects around the world. TRACCS provides its members the opportunity to collaborate with each other, thereby garnering the power of decades of collective experience and expertise in order to assist with the massive undertaking of building passenger rail across Canada.
We hope that our members can leverage TRACCS’ resources, workshops and events to learn and share more information so we can meet the demands of building, operating and maintaining world class passenger rail infrastructure.
