With more than $80B of transit expansion in various stages of development – it’s easy to understand why we whole heartedly support TRACCS Rail Days events, which bring the best of the Canadian rail industry together – and foster career opportunities for the next generation of rail professionals.Paul Murphy, Director, Construction Safety Strategy and Rail Corridor Access Lead, Metrolinx, and Co-founder and President of the Board of Directors, TRACCS
Co-founder Mark Salsberg of WGD Consulting said that the need for sharing and collaboration in the industry fuelled the creation of TRACCS:
One of the key pillars of our mandate is to ensure collaboration and sharing of information, including lessons learned. We have hundreds of members that have experience working on complex projects around the world. TRACCS provides its members the opportunity to collaborate with each other, thereby garnering the power of decades of collective experience and expertise in order to assist with the massive undertaking of building passenger rail across Canada.
We hope that our members can leverage TRACCS’ resources, workshops and events to learn and share more information so we can meet the demands of building, operating and maintaining world class passenger rail infrastructure.Mark Salsberg, Co-Principal at WGD Consulting and Co-founder and Chair of the Board of Directors, TRACCS
