The existing transportation system has resulted in an inequitable distribution of opportunities for people to access affordable housing, employment, education and other opportunities. What are the causes, scale and impacts of transportation inequality in cities? How should mobility be conceptualized and delivered to improve social and economic justice in transportation and its related urban form? How do we engage communities in substantial conversations to inform the research?
