On January 26, 2023, Mobility Network launched its 5-Minute Thesis Competition, made possible through the valuable contributions of Alex Ariza. Khadija Butt, the education specialist at Mobility Network, presented the details of the competition.
In preparation for the event, Mobility Network will conduct two additional workshops to enhance participants' readiness for the competition.
Eligibility Criteria
- Registered in a graduate program at time of the 5MT competition (made progress on research)
- A graduate student doing a major research study
- A Masters/PhD student who has defended, but have not yet convocated
Rules
- 5MT presentations must represent the primary research the student conducted in their graduate program.
- Competitors must be available for the awards ceremony and agree to be video-recorded and photographed for public use
- Competitors must submit their 5MT online via Mobility Network's submission form.
- The decision of the adjudicating panel is final.
